Prevent the onset of moldTo avoid developing an allergy to mold, or for people who know they are allergic, you must prevent the onset of mold. Especially as molds also have toxic effects. We must therefore fight against humidity and clean all parts dark, damp and poorly ventilated (bathroom, basement ...). In addition, as molds are visible at a certain stage, aerate and ventilate his house regularly. It also advises washing all fruits and vegetables before eating, and throwing food at the slightest sign of mold. Finally, we must limit the thick curtains, carpets and wallpaper.
Treat mold allergyWhen the symptoms of mold allergy is reported, they should be treated. Allergic rhinitis is indeed very debilitating because it provides great fatigue. The allergic reaction to mold can also develop into asthma if not properly supported. Therefore applied a symptomatic treatment, based on corticosteroids or antihistamines. But we must also treat the cause of the allergy desensitization. This treatment, also called immunotherapy, is the only way to permanently remove the symptoms of allergy to mold and prevent progression to asthma.
